Someone some where must be interceding for me. Anakin's Spring Break is this week and I tell you...it's been GOOD. I was a little afraid of how it was going to go. Tristin and Paxtin are so used to being without him during the day. Okay, without him bossing them around! Today, Anakin and Tristin actually played together almost the whole day! They pretended to be Batman and Robin and played in their big tent/tunnel thingy. What a breakthrough! Now if this would happen every single day!
I should have known this was coming. The past 5 nights...Paxtin has woken up multiple times crying. Normally if he wakes up, he goes right back to sleep if we give him his passy and make sure his blanky is next to him. These past nights...nope, didn't work. Then the snot started. YUCK! My normally happy baby is a grouch in the evenings and there's not much that is making him happy. I hope he gets better soon. We're going to Chicago for a quick trip (going to Shedd's and a few other places...we're not sure where yet).
Now to the Digi Question... Do any of you question your scrapping style? I'm not sure I even have one. I love to try everything, love graphic layouts, love collage (which I swore up and down I would NEVER like - LOL!). So, should I stick with one? All the great scrappers, the ones I admire seem to have a style. I'd hate to name names because there are so many of them! (Psst...Kellie, I know you'll probably see this. LOL! You are one of them. Love your style! So, what do you call yours?)
For those that know me WELL. Okay, most of you that will read this don't. I'm a slob. I am a pack rat (as is my hubby) and I'm a procrastinator. NOT a good mix. So, this week I decided it was time to go through the boys' toys yet again. This time, we are going to have a garage sale. We are selling ALL the boys' BIG Rescue Heroes. I did a quick count and they have over 30 of the figures...and they are complete...back packs, hats and all. We also have all 3 command centers and 5 big vehicles and several smaller ones. I admit, it was all my idea. In my mind, Anakin had to have them all. He loved them and I just figured with 2 other boys...they'd get played with a lot. Well, Anakin hasn't touched them in almost a year. Yep, that's right. Makes me sick. So, Anakin and I have been sorting toys and gathering all the heroes. We're about to go down and price them. Anakin is excited because we told him he can have some of the money from the sale. He has his heart set on a Nintendo DS. David does too! LOL!!!!!! So....now that I'm in the cleaning mood. I need to get through my paper scrapping and stamping supplies and get them either on eBay or David's work site (we can sell stuff on it).
So, I'm off to price, then get the boys in bed...oh and watch American Idol too!
Lastly, I did this today. I have been in a rut lately (hence my digi question)...and this didn't come quickly, but it did come! ;) The kit is by Amy Tanabe at www.acherryontop.com called "My Star". Okay, so it's not letting me add the picture. I'll try again later. ;)

(or I just got around to getting the pictures off of David's computer!!!)
Anakin got THIRD place in his age group! Not bad for our first year!!! We gave him a whole lecture about how he should just have fun and not expect a trophy and blah blah blah...and WE where shocked that he placed! LOL!!!
Tristin...well, he won TWO trophies! :) He got SECOND for Most Unique Design (thank you very much!) and 6th place for his age group. I think they did trophies for all the younger aged kids. Tristin was sooooo happy and kept saying, "I got TWO trophies" to everyone.
David...well, we didn't even take a picture of his placing. Poor honey...he got 6th place in his age group (was it an age group?). He got a medal...Anakin and I had to give David the "Just have fun...it's not about the trophy speech"! Oh...I'm cracking up!!!!!!!!!
I was proud of David...he's the one that carved them and put the wheels and weight on them. I just helped paint. ;) We are all looking forward to doing it next year...and maybe we'll even start a few weeks ahead of time!
3.23.2006
We bought the DVD last night. Tristin is obsessed with it! I asked him if he wanted chicken fries today for lunch and he said, "No Mommy, I want Chicken Little Fries". LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! He's so cute.
I've got a secret...I've always wanted to say that on my blog because I see so many others saying it. I'm not crying wolf either...I really do have one. :)
3.22.2006
AI...yeah! Kevin went home...finally. Poor guy. He doesn't have a bad voice...just not what I would think an AI would be. Hopefully, he'll get some gigs out of this. Goooooooooooooo Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
NIGHT!

"Spring Fever" ScrapArtist Creative Team Kit;
Shmootzy frame also from ScrapArtist & Susie's Hand font.
I got this shot right after church. They were so wedged into the chair...they couldn't move! LOL! Perfect. :) I can't get over how much Anakin and Tristin look a like here. I see it. David sees it.
Journaling says: "It's sunny, semi warm and the parks are calling! My 3 sweet boys all dressed up and ready to get dirty!"
The reason I wrote that is because we DID go to a park yesterday afternoon. I took tons of pictures...which will be next in their albums.
I've got to go rest...I've been on the computer all day adding stuff to the DF store. :) New items coming tomorrow...lots of new stuff and new designers! Before I go...I don't think Jenn reads my blog, but I have to say CONGRATULATIONS to her for getting Creating Keepsakes HOF (Hall of Fame). She totally deserves it! I've admired her since the day I saw her first LO and she will always be one of my favs! :)

I saw a Becky Sketch on the CK website. Simple and just perfect for 4 pictures that I had. So, I did it and finally sent it today. I am really pleased with how it turned out. I'm not going to post it anywhere but here. :)
It's not 'together' but you get the idea. I used a little Jen Wilson, Nancy from ScrapArtist and Shabby Princess. :)
Okay, I'm off to make lunch and do dishes!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! Three things before I chat about the derby...
1. Check out www.designbydani.com today! She's got a rockin' green freebie!
2. Check out www.fishscraps.com. Carrie has an amazing kit called "Lucky Day". It has shamrocks and everything. I'm hoping to get some pics of the boys in their green tomorrow. :)
3. MARMY...yes, Kellie! I noticed you've got your blog going!!!! I'm so happy! I thought about starting a thread at 2peas about "Who do you wish had a blog?" I would have said 1. Jen Wilson and 2. YOU. LOL!!!!!! Yippeee...now I can stalk you and our awesome layouts! I'll get you added to my blog ASAP!
Okay, so on to the derby! This is the first year David, Anakin and Tristin will participate in our church's Pinewood Derby. Our church has "Royal Rangers" for young boys. It's kind of like a Christian Boy Scouts...the emphasis is more on teaching the boys Christ-like living plus all the fun stuff! This is Anakin's first year as a 'Ranger Kid' and David is also a "commander" now. Tristin is also in 'Rainbows'. Anyway, the derby is tomorrow and we're all excited! Here are the cars:
This is my creation! Tristin wanted Larry Boy (Larry the Cucumber from Veggie Tales. "I AM THAT HERO!" LOL! He plays with a 'real' LB car all the time. So, since we had an extra LB, we chopped him off and added him to the car. :) I even gave him a little makeover. I felt like the old man in Toy Story when he gives Woody a makeover. LOL!
This is Anakin's car. He painted the green...he did a great job. :) He also designed the car. He was very specific. You can't tell from the picture, but the front slanted part is blue..so is the back slant. It looks cool. He also picked out the stickers and put them on.
Lastly, here is David's car...I mean...truck. It looks a lot like his real truck minus the tail pipes. LOL!
So, I'll report back tomorrow night. We'll see how we do. It's all about just having fun, right?
Okay, it's almost 1 am. I swore I was going to get to bed before Midnight. It didn't happen. NIGHT!!!!!

For Anakin's birthday we got him a Sea Monkey kit. Truth be told...I wanted to have it. I can't remember if I had them as a kid, but I remember wanting them. For some reason I just figured it wouldn't work. I told myself that so I didn't get upset if it didn't. LOL! But, it did and it's so cool!!!
This is what they look like:
We have a lot that look like the 4 week one and a few really small ones. I don't know if they had babies already or if they just hatched later than the others. Who knows. They are actually "brine shrimp" that have been crystallized. You add water and they hatch. Ours took about 3 hours to hatch...and they just kept hatching! Anakin has been taking good care of them, giving them air every day. David has gotten into it too. I found the www.sea-monkey.com site and joked that we should get Anakin a little transporter so he can take a few for show and tell. Well, David came back and said...and let's get the light-up cover, "aqua leash", sea diamonds, etc. I guess you could look at it this way. It's cheap entertainment. It's also giving Anakin a little responsibility...without have to get a dog, which he wants so badly.
So, there you have it. Our little family secret. We love sea-monkeys!

You Are Kermit |
Hi, ho! Lovable and friendly, you get along well with everyone you know. You're a big thinker, and sometimes you over think life's problems. Don't worry - everyone know's it's not easy being green. Just remember, time's fun when you're having flies! |

I want Chris to win. He's got a fantastic voice, he's bald and he's handsome!
And no one can make me feel like a 13 year old...well, Ace can. I used to love Menudo...wishing they'd come and wisk me away... Well, I'm married now, happily married...and my hubby is a hottie (he's still thinking about going bald) but man oh man...Ace...EYE CANDY! And...he can sing! His brother is just as hot as he is. They should be modeling...LOL!
Somehow, I feel better! :)I was already thinking about that when I read Kim Christensen's blog this morning. I think she's got way more followers than I do. She has nothing to worry about. But, me? I don't design, just create...so, I won't have customers stalking me. I've never seen (okay once maybe) anyone scraplift ME...which I consider a huge complement. I don't have stalkers. Note: For those that read this and think I'm strange. I mean that in a good way. Like I stalk Jen Wilson's site. I stalk my favorite designers and stores. :))
So, ultimately, I'm waiting to see my name on the sidebar of someone's "cool blog"...does that mean I'd be cool? Why do I feel like I'm in high school again?
Update on my hives...they are pretty much gone! Oh, but last night before bed, I itched my neck...and yep, I have them there too. They don't itch like the other ones, so I'm grateful.
I leave you with this. What is up with toddlers and their fascination with oulets, cords, remotes, phones (specially cell phones), kitchen cupboards, straws and garbage!? All of Paxtin's favorite things!
Just wait until you see some pictures of Paxtin..I'm sure I'll be scrapping them soon. He got into the garbage last night and found David's left over milk shake (with little chocolate chips!). I think he waited until David put it there and then went for it! I don't think he drank any, but he had it all over. UGH!

On a good note. This weekend I discovered something amazing. My newly 6 year old, still in kindergarten can READ. I knew he knew a few words...but, he is sitting down with a book and reading it. I wanted to remember this forever so...I did this:
Credits: Kim Christensen and Meredith Fenwick's new "His CD" available at www.scrapbook-bytes.com. FANTASTIC kits btw!

I'm anxiously awaiting hearing from Kim Christensen. I haven't publicly said that I applied to her team. So, there you go. I don't have high hopes, only because I am on what...4 teams (plus my guest spot). But, I love love LOVE her stuff! Check it out here: http://scrapbookbytes.com/store/manufacturers.php?manufacturerid=24 . Sorry, I can't find my instructions on how to make a better link...not so long and just the words I want (like Kim's Stuff instead of the whole address). Anyway, she's had a few delays so we are still waiting. I'll survive if I don't get it. I've got a lot to do with my other teams...but, I'll be slightly disappointed! ;)
I've got a house to pick up, laundry to do and kids that need my attention! Gotta go! But, wanted to share this:
3.01.2006
It's been quite the night and morning.
Tristin and Paxtin decided to play "let's see how many times we can get up" last night. If it wasn't one it was the other. David helps out A LOT with them...plus he was already awake...right, Honey?!
This morning...David was going through some mail that we had left on the entertainment center and found that I had been summons to serve on a jury. Well, not really, I just have to call and see if I have to go and then go and then be chosen, but... let's just say, I'm completely nervous, feel sick to my stomach...ugh.
Then, I went downstairs to get some laundry and I scrapped my leg on something...and hit David's air tank (he scuba dives) and it fell over with the big HISSSSSING...scaring me to DEATH...ugh again!
THEN, I was walking down the hallway, and I stubbed my toes on our vacuum cleaner. (Yes, that's where we keep it. We don't have room anywhere else.) OUCH...and UGH AGAIN!
So, after I'm done with my blogging therapy that I know only a few people will read. Let me tell you...I'm going to pray. Pray for my day, my safety (yes, I must have 2 left feet), my hubby, my kids....and my sanity.
Have a great day!
